Two ways in.

Ninety days, or a CMO at your table. Either way, you'll know what the work made you, every month.

Ninety days

90-Day Sprint

Sales supported first. The plan built second. Both live in ninety days.

  1. 01An 18 to 24 month plan with milestones and the room to pivot.
  2. 02The first moves live and tracked, your team trained to run them.
  3. 03Four gauges on one page: close rate, SQLs, brand search, time to close.

Fixed scope · priced to the size of the business · one or two sprints at a time

Fractional CMO

Your CMO, at your table, 10 to 25 hours a week.

  1. 01Your leadership meetings, your planning cycle, your hard calls.
  2. 02The marketing P&L owned, your team led, the specialists managed.
  3. 03One or two clients at a time, so you get the person, not a bench.

Inside every engagement.

There is no silver bullet to marketing, and every company needs something different at each phase of it's growth. This is what 20 years of experience looks like at your table.

  1. 01Strategy and the execution of it
  2. 02Team leadership and coaching
  3. 03Budget, ROI, board reporting
  4. 04CRM and automation
  5. 05Media buying, every medium
  6. 06SEO and generative search
  7. 07Brand and positioning
  8. 08Dealer and channel enablement
  9. 09Sales and marketing alignment
  10. 10AI where it does real work

Four phases. One system.

Every engagement receives

Sprint or seat, the order never changes. Each phase opens on click.

01 Diagnose Sprint month one

Spend, where the effort goes, where impressions come from, what the market thinks of you, the database, the systems, and the P&L down to SG&A, net and EBIT, so we know what we actually have to play with. Your leadership team, one at a time, and what each of them believes works and why, because decades of experience are sitting at that table and some of it is right. No assumptions, including mine.

02 Design Sprint month two

What sales needs this quarter comes first, because there is no tomorrow without today. Then an 18 to 24 month plan from the diagnosis, not a template: milestones, deliverables, every initiative tied to a number, and the mechanisms to pivot when one misses. Everything you already own gets worked before anything new gets bought.

03 Drive Sprint month three

The first moves go live with a goal, an owner and live tracking. Leading your team or managing specialists, nothing launches for the sake of activity. Playbooks written, team trained, the next ninety days mapped.

04 Optimize Every month after

Four gauges on one page: close rate, SQLs, brand search, time to close. Cut what cannot draw a line to revenue, even if it has run for fifteen years. Keep what does, even if it is boring. AI does the repeatable work here so the team does what matters. It never sets the strategy.

"Agencies slowed us down, Brodie sped us up. Not only did our leads grow, so did the skill set of our marketing team."
Kevin Hook · Dufresne Group
A fit

You make and sell a product. The sales structure is built and the product is real, but the market doesn't believe yet. You want a number on the P&L, and you'll give marketing the attention it takes to get one.

Not a fit

You want deliverables without a leader. You want the impressions report, not the revenue one. You want a story without the tactics under it. You want AI to set the strategy.

Questions owners ask

What is a fractional CMO?

A senior marketing leader who sits in your leadership meetings, owns the marketing P&L and leads your team for part of the week instead of all of it. You get the person, not an agency and not a report. I hold one or two seats at a time.

How do I know if I need one?

Three signs. You spend money on marketing and cannot connect it to revenue. Your team can execute but nobody is setting the direction. Your growth has stalled and the reasons you are hearing do not survive a hard question. Any one of them is worth twenty minutes.

How is this different from hiring an agency?

Ask your agency three questions. What did my campaign drive this month? How did your work make me money? How did it support my sales revenue? If those questions have never come up, you have your answer. I ask them of myself before you do, every month, and the answers sit on your P&L, not in a deck.

You've never worked in my industry. Why would this work?

Industry experience is what you hire salespeople for. They bring customers and they talk the talk. Marketing is a different job: understanding why your buyer buys and positioning your product in front of the right ones so they want it before your rep ever calls. That skill moved from a national newspaper to a stadium tour to a SaaS company to auto dealerships to heavy equipment without changing. What changes is the homework, and I do it in month one, with your people, before I touch a thing.

What does working together look like week to week?

Your leadership meeting, a team check-in, a campaign review, and I'm reachable in between. Ten to twenty-five hours a week depending on the quarter and the stage you're at. You'll know what I did, what happened and what the next dollar should buy.

How much does this cost?

The Sprint is fixed scope, priced to the size of the business. The seat is scoped by hours a week. Both cost a fraction of an executive hire. I don't publish prices because the number depends on your P&L, and I'd rather look at it with you on the call than guess in public.

Do you replace my existing marketing team?

No. I lead it. Your people get sharper working beside a CMO who has done the job, and when I step back the system stays and so does the standard. If a specialist is missing, I bring one in for the work, not for the headcount.

What if my marketing is actually fine?

Then I'll tell you, and I'll tell you what to extend. I don't manufacture problems to justify an engagement. Half the value of the Two Moves Call is hearing "you're doing a lot of great things here" from someone with no reason to say it.

What about AI? How do you use it?

As a thought partner, never a thought leader. It does the research, the reporting and the repeatable work so my hours go where people buy: your floor, your dealers, your table. In one sales workflow that approach lifted close rates 323%. It has never set a strategy and it won't set yours.

How quickly can we start?

The Sprint starts within two weeks of a signed scope. The seat starts when the current quarter allows, because I hold one or two of them at a time on purpose.

Not sure
which door?

Twenty minutes settles it. You leave with the two moves either way.
